Parts made right,
finished to spec,
measured to prove it.
RevApple is a precision machine shop in Pittsboro, North Carolina. We mill, turn, and Swiss-machine close-tolerance parts for aerospace, engineer the surface finish, and verify every critical dimension before it ships.
One shop, from chip
to finished part.
Milling, multi-axis turning, and Swiss-style production under one roof, with surface finishing, metrology, and vacuum-grade cleaning in-house. Fewer hand-offs, tighter control, and one team accountable for the whole part.
Vertical machining centers.
Haas VF-4, VF-3, and VF-2SS for prismatic parts, from roughing through finish passes. Tight-tolerance work in steels, stainless, aluminum, titanium, and exotics.
Done-in-one turned parts.
A Hardinge Elite 6/42 with live tooling, sub-spindle, and bar feed, plus a Hanwha XP16 Swiss-style lathe for high-volume sub-16mm precision components.
Engineered surfaces.
Nickel boron and salt-bath nitride for wear, corrosion, and lubricity, applied to a controlled spec and verified against it.
Measured, then proven.
A climate-controlled metrology lab with a Brown & Sharpe CMM. First-article inspection, in-process checks, and dimensional reports that travel with the parts. When the print calls for vacuum-grade cleanliness, we clean to it.
CMM verification.
Critical dimensions verified on a Brown & Sharpe coordinate measuring machine in a climate-controlled lab. GD&T interpreted, not guessed.
Documented results.
First-article and in-process inspection with reports you can hand to your own quality team. Nothing ships on a feeling.
Cleaned to the part.
Degreasing through ultrasonic, plasma-discharge, and non-chemical methods. Vacuum-grade cleaning down to 0.65 torr for high-vacuum service.
Built for work that has to hold.
Aerospace, medical devices, defense, optics, semiconductor, and vacuum-system work, plus motorsport, robotics, and instrumentation. Prototypes through production runs, with the finishing and inspection the spec demands.
The reference library
behind the shop.
We also publish RevApple Media: independent, sourced reference material on CNC machining and surface finishes, engineered to be cited by humans and AI alike. It is how we share what the floor teaches us.
